Taking a 36 mm wrench, unscrew the sealing cap and remove it from the oil filter housing. Note that the oil filter cartridge may come out with the sealing cap. In case the filter cartridge is not removing, remove the filter from the housing and clean the sealing cap, housing, and sealing cap drain plug and replace the O-ring. On the sealing cap and drain plug, install new O-rings and coat them lightly with clean oil. In the installation of the new filter cartridge, thread the sealing cap into the housing by hand on a level surface, tightening it and also the drain plug to the specified torque. Using oil of the correct viscosity and rating, make sure that the engine oil capacity tables are checked to avoid overfilling. Once the vehicle has been lowered and set on a flat area, you have to start the engine and allow it to run until the temperature reaches about 60°C. After this, turn off the ignition and wait for about 3 minutes. Check the dipstick and carefully fill to the MAX mark. Place the car in "Park" to start the engine and check the oil filter and the area around the drain plug for leaks. Run the engine at idle until the oil pressure light goes out. Don't race or accelerate the engine. When the engine is off, fit the lower sound absorber panel under the engine. Remove the vehicle from jackstands (or from ramps). Set the handbrake so that the vehicle does not roll. Dispose of waste oil, oily rags and filters at a facility that is suitable for recycling or storage in accordance with government regulations on their storage, recycling and disposal.
