  Install a proper container underneath the left hand side of the engine. Unscrew filter cartridge, and dispose; a filter strap or special spanner; otherwise insert long screwdriver through cartridge. Removal of housing: An Allen key is used to unscrew the bolts, then withdraw the housing and gasket making sure to disconnect the wiring of the oil pressure switch on North American models first. Clean the mating faces of the housing and the block and re-assemble the housing with a new gasket and tighten the bolts and re-connecting the wiring connected to the switch of oil pressure, where applicable. Wipe the mating faces of the new oil filter cartridge and housing with a little engine oil put on the seal to the filter. Only screw cartridge on the housing and tighten it with a hand.
