Multi-function switch is on the top of the transmission. To start, use the handbrake, raise the front of the car on axle-lifts and place it on support axle stands. Loose the wiring connector and unscrew the bolts that hold the switch lead to the top of the transmission. Record the adjusted position of the switch, loosen the bolt, and then unscrew the switch retainer plate and pull out the multi-function switch in the transmission and retrieve the O-ring seal. To refit, clean the transmission switch location, install a new O-ring seal and install the switch in the aforementioned location. Re-fitting the retainer plate and tightening the bolt, and attaching the lead to the top of the transmission and re-connecting the wiring then lower the vehicle to the ground. The reversing light switch is positioned on the right side of the transmission on the cover of the selectors. Then using the handbrake and jacking the front of the car, unscrew the switch and disconnect the wiring attached to the transmission casing. To refit, clean the switch and in the housing, install the switch and then tight up to the recommended torque and then reconnect the wiring and then lower the vehicle to the ground.
