In the models whose engine compartments have halogen bulbs installed in October and earlier, the process will start by taking off the engine covers depending on the headlight to be replaced. Take out the air intake on the passenger side. Use masking tapes on the headlight housing to cover the body. Unscrew the upper fasteners and tighten the bottom bolt but not take them out. Disengage the electrical connector, and turn the housing towards the fender and completely remove it. Removal is the opposite process of installation, after which procedures to adjust after installing the headlight housing are done. To access the bumper cover, remove it first on models made in November 2004 and onwards. Then loosen the center headlight housing fastener by removing it and loosening the parts of the inner and outer fasteners, making sure to loosen the outer fastener using the access hole in the fender. Move the headlight housing forward, unscrew the wiring, and take away the housing. Install the new housing and do not tighten all fasteners yet, install the bumper cover again. Measure the distance between the bumper cover and the headlight housing; when it is correct, tighten the fastening mounts of the housing firmly. The installation is capped off with the undoing of the removing steps.
