- Q:What is the proper way to remove and install a Headlight assembly on Audi TT?A:All electrical consumers should be put off, and ignition key removed. Ensure that the light switch is off. Detach the front bumper cover. When working with the headlight assembly, remove three mounting screws. Move the headlight housing in the direction of the radiator and release the mounting pin from the retainer. Unplug electrical connectors. To begin the installation, connect the electrical harness connectors. Secure the mounting pin in place. Set up the mounting screws and hand tighten only. Make sure the front bumper cover is in position then check the position of the headlight housing with respect to the front bumper cover and grill. Use the screw to loosen it and turn the adjuster, move the headlight housing if necessary, so the headlight housing lines up at the bumper cover and grill assembly. Detach the bumper cover and ensure that the mounting screws for headlight housing is tightened as per specifications. Install bumper cover and adjust the headlights aim.
