In order to get the top outer cover off, undo the retaining clips and take off the air inlet hose off the
Timing Belt cover. Prize Next loosen the metal spring clips to take out the topmost section of the timing belt outer cover and remove it out of the engine, however there are three clips in DOHC engines. The reverse of unloading is the refitting process and the lower edge of the upper cover is to be engaged with the center cover. In the case of the center outer cover, the starter step is to take out the auxiliary drivebelt and the crankshaft pulley, next unscrew, and remove the retaining bolts on the center cover, pulling it off in keeping track of the fit on the lower cover. The refitting is reversed. To reach the bottom outer cover, take out the upper and the center covers then the crankshaft pulley (unless it has been removed). Unscrew the rest of the bolts holding the lower cover together and remove it, and then replacing it is exactly as a reversal of the process of removal, it is essential to have the center cover in place before installing the top two bolts. To remove the rear cover, you have to remove the upper, center and the lower cover and then remove the timing belt, tensioner, and sprockets. Lastly, loosen and unbolt the holding bolts to remove the timing belt inner cover off the engine with replacement of the step being the reverse of the process.
