Unscrew the wheel bolts and lift the front end of the car and put it on the jackstands and use the parking brake and block the back wheels so that it does not roll over. Take out wheel, loosen tie-rod end jam nut, using wrench to hold tie-rod in place. Mark on the threads of the tie-rod end to be sure of a proper installation later, and when fitting a new tie-rod end make a mark on the new part at the same point. unscrew the tie-rod to
Steering Knuckle bolt, the pinch bolt/nut, and the tie-rod end off the knuckle and force it out. Unscrew the tie-rod end out of the tie-rod, and enter the new tie-rod end into the tie-rod with the index mark. Attach the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle, use and screw in the tie-rod end-to-steering knuckle bolt to the required torque, pinch bolt, and a new nut, screwed in to the required torque too. Tighten the jam nut securely and replace the wheel, drop the vehicle and tighten the wheel bolts to recommended torque. Lastly, get the front end straightened and brought back into position (where applicable).
