Unscrew the battery negative connection, lift the pushrods out of the wiper motor crank. Mark the crank with reference to the motor spindle, unscrew the nut and take the crank off the spindle. Removal of the wiper motor and wiring require unbolstering the wiper motor off the frame. To refit, revert the procedure. When it is time to install a new wiper motor, start the engine and run the motor a little before disconnecting, this will put the motor in the resting position, then the crank can be easily attached to the spindle.
