How to remove and refit the oil pump for 1.6 litre SOHC petrol engines on 2016 Audi A3?

To disassemble the oil pump, remove the sump, unscrew the fixing bolts and remove the oil baffle. Unscrew the mounting bolts, disconnect the drive sprocket of the oil pump, and take the oil pump and pick-up pipe away. Wash and clean the pump replacing it when required. Install parts backwards with correct tension and closing.
