How to remove and reinstall the Rack and Pinion Boot on the steering gear and gaiter on 1992 Audi 100?

Take out the rack and pinion boot, wipe off the assembly. Disassemble hydraulic pipes, throwing away sealing washers. Snip the retaining clips and pull the boot off. Rough edges of the tape, rub the new boot over the rack and pinion. Fit the rack and pinion boot back by making sure that there is correct seating and fitting of new retaining clips.
