To remove/install lock cylinder, pull out/hold door handle and unscrew bolt to the stop using T10011 or equivalent, which releases lock cylinder housing. Avoid removing the bolt or screwing it fully in unless the lock cylinder is installed, since this will allow the locking ring to fall into the door. Gently pull the lock cylinder housing and cover trim straight out, being careful not to drop the backing gasket into the door. To remove the door handle, first remove the lock cylinder. Then use a pick tool to unclip the cable end from the door handle, then pivot the door handle out and away from the door. For the installation process, pivot the door handle back into the door, clip the cable end onto the door handle and clip it into place without pulling the cable tight from the operating lever. Lastly, fit the lock cylinder and check whether the door handle is working. If the cable is not properly installed, it will not open the door.
