What steps should be taken before and after removing the NC control head from the A/C Switch on Audi TT?

Before removing the NC control head, always check Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory. After removal, perform basic setting and check DTC memory again. If replacing, code the NC control head. The A/C control head display and control buttons are illuminated by LEDs and cannot be replaced separately. Remove the radio, center console grab handles, front ashtray, and center console trim. With the ashtray and trim removed, take out the four securing screws. Pull the control head out far enough to access the harness connectors, push the release tabs, and pull each harness connector straight out. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring proper positioning of spring clips when reinstalling the trim. Finally, return the system to basic settings.
