How to disconnect the battery and remove the steering wheel, including removal of the Steering Column Cover on Audi A6?

To commence with the installation of the new steering wheel, the first step is to disconnect the battery negative (-) cable, remove the driver's airbag, and take off the steering wheel. Pull out and down on the steering column, remove screws and grip, then upper trim piece. First, remove the screws and bolt to take off the lower trim piece. To install, first insert the lower part, then insert the upper part in the hooks on the upper part, turn it down and insert it.
