In order to change the wiper motor, begin by removing the wiper arm and retrieving the wiper motor shaft sealing ring. The second step would be to take the tailgate off and remove the trim panel. Turn off the wiring connector of the motor and unscrew the washer fluid hose to the washer nozzle connector of the motor assembly by way of the securing clip. Take the three nuts that are used to screw the motor in, and then remove the assembly, replacing the rubber grommet as necessary. To fit again, follow the reverse sequence being sure that the motor shaft rubber sealing ring is in place to avoid water leakages and then screw the wiper arm back into place.
