    Q: Where are the Fuse Box and Relay Boxes located, and what precautions should be taken when replacing them on Audi 90?

    The fuses and relays are placed in a box on the right-hand side of the bulkhead, which is numbered and labelled on the cover, with other relays being located behind the facia on a special relay board. One should also ensure that the fuse is substituted by the same rating and not more than once without finding the problem. The fuse box has a pair of plastic tweezers to assist in removal of fuses which can be removed by unclips on the front and rear of the cover. The relays are not repairable when they fail and are of the plug-in type and can be pulled off their terminals. Some relays behind the facia have to be pried out of the two plastic clips and the facia relay board can be removed by unscrewing the self-tapping mounting screws.
