How to remove and refit the door lock and trim panel on Audi 90?

Take out the door trim panel, and then detach the locking knob and exterior handle operating rods to the lock. Unscrew the lock mounting screws and unhook the inner cable on the lock lever. Take the lock out of the retainer and take the seal. To refit, reverse the de-fitting. In order to reconnect inner cable, keep the lock lever open by pushing a screwdriver into the assigned hole and then replace the screwdriver. Connect the operating rod to the exterior handle keeping free play to a maximum of 1.0 mm (0.04 in).
