How to remove and replace a brake hose on 1995 Audi 90?

The brake fluid reservoir should be clamped before disconnecting a brake line/hose to reduce fluid wastage. In the case of a rigid line, screw the union nuts off and remove the line. In the case of a flexible hose, loosen the union nut and lift the hose out of the bracket and then put it in all in reverse. Drain the hydraulic system later.
