How to remove and refit the water pump on 1992 Audi 100?

To remove the water pump, drain the cooling system and remove the auxiliary drivebelt(s). Detach the power steering pump without disconnecting the hydraulic pipe/hose(s). Remove retaining bolts to take off the pulley. Disconnect water hoses and unscrew retaining studs/bolts. Discard the sealing ring. Refit components and refill the cooling system.
