In order to unlock the lock mechanism, open the boot lid and detach the battery. The screws holding the inner trim panel and retaining panel are removed. Disconnect the operating rods and wiring out of the lock. Undo the retaining nuts to take away the lock. Dovetail the actions to refit, ensuring that the lock is operating then re-fiting the trim.
