  A: Finally make sure the top of the block is completely clean and put a new gasket on the block with the part number or the mark of OSEN TOP facing upwards. Ensure that the face of the cylinder head is clean as well and put in place two long rods or dowels in the holes on the cylinder head bolts at the opposite end of the block so as to place the gasket and have a place where the cylinder head will be fitted. Lay the head onto the block, pull off the guide dowels, and plug in the bolts and the washers but do not apply jointing compound to the cylinder head joint. Install the bolts in the series and steps required according to the torque required. Install the timing belt rear cover and spacers on the front of the cylinder head and block and tighten the retaining bolts and studs as required. Lastly, remove the camshaft(s) and hydraulic tappets then reattach the water pump.
