    A: In order to take off the gearbox in manual models, take off the gearbox and the clutch, in automatic models take off the transmission. Unscrew bolts connecting flywheel/driveplate with multi-splined key. Check wear, particularly starter ring gear. After replacing the damaged parts, replace bolts at all times. Removal to refit.
