How to remove the air filter box for petrol engines on 1989 Audi 100?

To remove the air cleaner, open the retaining clips and lift the upper cover. Take out the filter element, disconnect the air duct and hoses, and wiring from the airflow meter. For ABK engines, disconnect the idle speed control valve. Remove the air cleaner body and check the rubber mountings. Refitting is done in reverse order.
