How to remove and refit the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 1987 Audi 4000?

Remove the fuel lines from the distributor, then loosen the clamps to take off the air scoop, which includes the crankcase ventilation hose connection. Remove the bolts securing the air flow meter, lifting off both the air flow meter and the fuel metering distributor. Ensure the fuel metering plunger doesn't fall out. Refit in reverse order, using a new gasket.
