Remove the fuel lines from the distributor, then loosen the clamps at the air cleaner and throttle assembly ends of the air scoop to take off the air scoop, which includes the crankcase ventilation hose connection for fuel injection engines. Next, remove the bolts securing the air flow meter to the air cleaner, lifting off both the air flow meter and the fuel metering distributor. Ensure that the fuel metering plunger is prevented from falling out during the removal of the fuel metering distributor from the air flow meter. When refitting, follow the reverse order of removal, making sure to use a new gasket between the air flow meter and the air cleaner.
