  • Q: How to properly remove and refit the Brake Master Cylinder while ensuring the hydraulic system is bled on 1987 Audi 4000?
    A: Press the footbrake pedal to release the vacuum, then take the brake fluid reservoir cap off and suck the fluid out. Reconnect the fluid level warning circuit, and reconnect the cap. Unscrew the nuts of the brake pipe union, plug the pipes and remove the master cylinder, remembering to put a new seal on them in the process and bleed the hydraulic system.
