Take out the lower sound insulation panel, front bumper, right headlight assembly, and EVAP canister. Taking out the intercooler involves uncoupling the air hose from the top of the intercooler, unbolting the upper mounting bolts for the intercooler, unclipping the cowl from the intercooler, uncoupling the air hose from the bottom of the intercooler and unbolting the lower mounting bolt to take the intercooler out from below. The installation is done in the reverse order of removal, ensuring that all joints, pipe unions, and connections are thoroughly cleaned before disconnecting and reconnecting the turbocharger. Use of dust-free paper to cover the components or seal in plastic bags will help. Avoid using cloth materials. Don't use compressed air in the vicinity. Never start the car or work in dusty conditions while the turbocharger is open or removed. Always install clean components. Do not remove any components from their original packaging before they are being installed. Modify the headlights, if required.
