With the engine switched off, press the brake pedal several times to deplete brake booster vacuum. Take off the
Brake Master Cylinder, then pull the vacuum hose off the brake booster. In the event that a booster is present, disconnect the electrical harness connectors. Unscrew the trim plates located above and in front of the pedal cluster. Removal of the brake booster Disconnect the brake pedal from the brake booster and remove the mounting nuts for the brake booster. Detach the brake booster and install by reversing removal and ensuring correct positioning of the brake pedal push rod in the brake master cylinder, along with the fitting of the sealing ring between the master cylinder and booster. If appropriate, bleed the brakes as well as the hydraulic clutch, with the latter being used on some models. Use a diagnostic scan tool to initiate basic settings for brake pressure sensors.
