The Audi TT Water Pump circulates the coolant in the engine and radiator to avoid overheating. - Q:Where is the after-run Water Pump (V51) located and how to check its operation on Audi TT?A:A coolant pump (V51) is found mounted to the fan cowl towards the right of the radiator fan. This pump will provide additional cooling to higher horsepower engines and also provide turbocharger cooling. The pump is operated for a specific time after the engine is stopped. To determine its functioning, turn on the ignition; the pump may be felt or even heard running. Check the fuse and the wiring using the wiring diagram if the device does not operate. If everything checks out and you correctly turn the key on but the pump does not operate, replace the after-run coolant pump, mounting bolts are indicated by arrows.
