  The removal of the Receiver drier can only be carried out by discharging the refrigerant circuit according to the manufacturer's instructions using approved equipment and procedures. If the other engine version is employed, better access may potentially be gained by removing either the support brace between the left hand and right long-member or the connecting pipe between intercoolers. Initially, remove the securing bolt, then disconnect the refrigerant pipe, unfasten the bracket clamp nut, and finally take off the refrigerant pipe connection securing bolt. Remove the receiver drier downwards and out of the bracket ensuring you keep it sealed for as long as possible as it contains desiccant that will absorb moisture. The original receiver drier will be removed and it contains refrigerant oil, which equates to the amount placed back in the refrigerant system. If only a small amount of damage was done to the original receiver drier, adding the same quantity of refrigerant oil to the new part may suffice. Installation is performed in the reverse order, taking care to replace O-rings and tighten the refrigerant line securing bolts to the specified torque. Ultimately, Evacuate and Recharge the System.
