How to remove and refit the oil pressure switch for the warning light for 1.6 litre SOHC petrol engines on Audi A3?

In order to take off the oil pressure warning light switch, one should find them on the left side of the oil filter housing, unconnection of the wiring connector as well as cleaning the place. Unscrew the switch off of the filter housing and remove it along with its sealing washer; when the switch will not be replaced within a long time, plug the opening in the oil filter housing. To refit it, check the sealing washer and see whether it is damaged or deteriorated and replace it as necessary. Install the switch once again, with the washer and tighten it to the required torque. Lastly, reconnect the wiring connector and ensure that engine oil is at the right level, filling it up as required.

In order to take off the oil pressure warning light switch, one should find them on the left side of the oil filter housing, unconnection of the wiring connector as well as cleaning the place. Unscrew the switch off of the filter housing and remove it along with its sealing washer; when the switch will not be replaced within a long time, plug the opening in the oil filter housing. To refit it, check the sealing washer and see whether it is damaged or deteriorated and replace it as necessary. Install the switch once again, with the washer and tighten it to the required torque.
