Loosen the wheel bolts, raise the vehicle, support it securely on jackstands, and remove the front wheel. Remove the front bumper cover. Take out the inner fender splash shield fasteners and the inner fender splash shield. At the rear of the front wheelwell, remove the end panel fasteners between the fender and the door to access the fender-to-A pillar fasteners. Remove the fasteners for the fender to the A pillar, then open the door and take out the upper fender-to-door pillar fastener in the doorjamb. Remove the rocker panel fasteners, lower the rocker panel, and detach the two fasteners for the lower half of the fender to the rocker panel. Remove the headlight/side marker light assembly. Take out the fasteners for the fender to the front support brace and the lower inner fenderwell brace. Remove the fasteners securing the top of the fender and detach the hood release cable from the fender. Carefully detach the fender, ideally with assistance to prevent damage to surrounding body panels. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring all fasteners are tightened securely, and finally, tighten the wheel bolts to the specified torque.
