In order to take out the three-point seat belt, first, disconnect battery negative cable, pull out the sill trim and then remove the lower belt bolt. Then, take off the upper B-pillar trim. Next, take off the lower B-pillar trim. Then, take off the shouldered nut. Remove the bolt and disconnect the connector on the belt tensioner and lift the belt tensioner out of the tab. To install, insert the belt tensioner into the anti-twist element and install the webbing with a 180° turn (arrow in travel direction). The rest of the install is a reversal of the removal. You will want to check that the three-point seatbelt is not obstructed and that the belt-fastened sensor is working (if fitted). To eliminate the belt height adjuster, remove the upper B-pillar trim, take off the shouldered nut and bolt, and lift out the height adjuster. After removing the fitting from the belt, you reverse the removal process. Check that the height adjuster 'clicks' into place at every position of the fitting. When the fitting is pressed down, it should return to the up position. Other checks are the shouldered nut must be tightened correctly and do not press the button as the installation is being carried out.
