How to remove and install Front Door Moldings on Audi A6?

Remove screws from door trim. Remove window switch unit by inserting screwdriver in hole in armrest and pressing locking tab in the direction of the arrow. On models without a hole in the armrest, use a plastic prying tool to pry the front edge of the window switch up slightly and release the locking tab. Lift the switch unit up and press the retainer tab to release the electrical connector. Lift the door trim about 20 cm upward and remove it from the door. Pull the bowden cable out of the guide and detach it. When installing, ensure the hook is facing upward. Disconnect electrical connectors for the central locking switch, door warning light, and radio speaker. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring door insulation is in place and not damaged, pressing the center of the door trim on the door first, and clipping locators in place.
