- Q: What are the steps and considerations for maintaining and replacing fuel injectors on Audi A3?A:Injectors wear out through experience, and must be reconditioned or renewed after about 60,000 miles, and correctly tested, overhauled and adjusted by an expert. When removing, caution is required to ensure that no dirt gets into the injectors or the fuel pipes, neither should the injectors be dropped or hand-lugged about.
