Remove the front suspension strut along with the wheel bearing housing. Take out the countersunk cross-head screw and withdraw the brake disc from the hub. Remove the screws and take out the splash guard. Support the wheel bearing housing with the hub facing downwards, then press or drive out the hub using a suitable mandrel, noting that the bearing inner race will remain on the hub and cannot be reused. Use a puller to extract the inner race from the hub. Remove the circlips, then support the wheel bearing housing and press or drive out the bearing using a large socket or metal tubing on the outer race. Clean the hub and the recess in the wheel bearing housing. Fit the outer circlip, support the wheel bearing housing, and press or drive in the new bearing using a metal tube on the outer race only, then fit the inner circlip. Position the hub with its bearing shoulder facing upwards and press or drive on the bearing and housing using a metal tube on the inner race only. Refit the splash guard and brake disc, tighten the disc screw, and then refit the front suspension strut.
