To access the courtesy light on models with a sunroof, unclip the front of the overhead console panel and lower it to reach the bulb; for models without a sunroof, use a small, flat-bladed screwdriver to carefully prise the light unit assembly out. Unclip the cover if fitted, free the bulb from its contacts, and remove it. Refitting involves reversing the removal process to ensure the bulb is securely held. For the reading light, pull down the grab handle, prise out the trim covers to access the retaining screws, remove the handle assembly, and disconnect the wiring connector. Unclip the cover if fitted, remove the bayonet-type bulb by pressing it in and turning it anti-clockwise, and refit by reversing the steps. The luggage compartment light requires a small screwdriver to prise the light unit assembly out, followed by unclipping the cover and removing the bulb from its contacts, with refitting being the reverse of removal. For the vanity mirror light, pull down the sun visor, open the mirror flap, and use a screwdriver to prise off the mirror/lens assembly to access the bulb. Refitting is done by reversing the steps. To access the instrument panel illumination and warning lights, remove the instrument panel, twist the bulb holder anti-clockwise to withdraw it, and ensure new bulbs match the correct rating. The glovebox illumination light can be accessed by opening the glovebox, and for better access, it may be necessary to remove the glovebox. The bayonet-type bulb is removed by pressing it in and turning it anti-clockwise, ensuring it is securely fitted upon refitting. For models with standard heating controls, pull off the control knobs, undo the retaining screws, and remove the faceplate to access the capless illumination bulb, which is a push-fit. Refitting is done by reversing the removal process. In models with a fully automatic air conditioning system, remove the heater control panel without detaching the wiring connectors, twist the bulb holder anti-clockwise to remove it, and securely fit the new bulb holder assembly before refitting the control panel.
