How to replace the water pump on 2015 Audi A3?

With 1.6 litre DOHC petrol engines, empty the cooling system, loosen the water pump pulley bolts and remove the drivebelt. Unscrew the pulley and water pump out of the cylinder block. Wipe down mating surface and apply sealant in case of reuse of the pump. SOHC and diesel engines should be done in the same way; they must be well installed and refilled.
