    A: This is done by removing the sump beginning with the timing cover. The tensioner cable of the timing chain is freed and the hydraulic tensioner clamped. The timing chain is identified as direction and the sprockets are removed. Particulars are washed and checked. Along with refitting, TDC alignment is checked and bolts tightened. Lastly, timing cover is reattached.
