How to remove and refit a starter motor on 2015 Audi A3?

In order to disconnect the starter, disconnect the negative lead of the battery, use the handbrake and place the car in position. Take off the engine undertray, plastic cap and battery connections. Loosen the earth cable and mounting bolts and lead the starter out. To refit, reverse the operation and screw in the bolts.
