Where are the knock sensor(s) located, and what steps are needed to access and replace them on 2015 Audi A3?

The knock sensor(s) is positioned on the inlet side of the cylinder block and some models have two sensors. In order to reach the sensor, lift up the engine top cover(s) and, where applicable, engine undertray(s). Unscrew the mounting bolt, disconnect the wiring, and pull out the sensor. To refit, make sure to wash off the surfaces and screw the mounting bolt.
