In order to take off the hood, open it and trace the hinge lines as reference. With a bit of help, unscrew the securing nuts and undo the gas support strut in order to raise the hood up. Check and renew hinges as required. In refitting, fit marks, nut tighten and alignment with neighbouring panels.
