How to replace the Hood Latch, Hood Release Cable and Lift Support on 2006 Audi A4?

To replace the latch, open the hood, remove fasteners, disconnect the electrical connector, and detach the latch assembly. Remove the cable by detaching it from the latch and the bracket. Inside, detach the cable from the lever, then pull the new cable through. For the support strut, lift the retaining springs to detach it. Reinstall in reverse order.
