With four-cylinder models, the CKP sensor is difficult to reach behind the oil filter housing. Empty the engine oil, take off the oil filter installation, disconnect the CKP sensor and take it off. In the V6 models, lift the vehicle, find the CKP sensor on the transmission bellhousing, and repeat the steps as removing and positioning.
