The liftgate has to be removed and installed by at least two individuals. Unscrew the trim panel connectors and unscrew the liftgate liftgate. Note the connection of the liftgate and hinges. In aided fashion, unscrew the support strut and take out the liftgate. To install, reverse the actions and have them well aligned. Adjust latch assembly and rubber stops when necessary.
