How to properly remove and refit the sway bar on 1992 Audi 80?

Tie on the hand brake, lift the front of the car, keep it on the axle stands then take the off wheels off. Unbolt the mounting clamps on the front. Unbolt the side connections of power steering models and reclaim the mounting parts. Check and change any spoilt rubbers. To be refitted, reverse the process of removal.
