How to replace the Windshield Washer Switch on 1992 Audi 100?

The transmission has a multi-function switch on it. Use a handbrake, raise the car and prop it. Disassemble the wiring, unscrew the switch and take it out. Wash the place, replace the O-ring, and reassemble. The reversing light switch is located on the right side; it is installed in a similar fashion.
