How to remove and refit the distributor on 1991 Audi 100?

Locate distributor (left rear oil pump drive; ACE/AAR right rear camshaft). Set TDC on No 1, disconnect HT leads and Hall sensor, remove cap, align rotor, mark positions, undo fasteners, withdraw distributor, recover/inspect O-ring and gear. Refit at TDC, align drive/marks, tighten, reconnect, and check timing.
