How to remove and refit the Trunk Lid Latch and lock cylinder from the boot lid on 1988 Audi 80?

Lift up the boot lid and take away the plastic covers. Loose the operating rod and the lock cylinder. Unscrew the mounting nuts and take away the lock. In order to extract the lock cylinder a key and extract the retaining pin should be inserted. Unrefit by following the same procedure in reverse. Alter operating rod to fit.
