Remove upper soundabsorber panels from the top of the engine and the top of the coolant expansion tank. Release tension of the ribbed belt. Disconnect the secondary air hose at the indicated location. Raise the car and support it safely. Remove the sound absorber panel from under the engine and the left and right side lower sound insulation panels. Remove the mounting bolts and cross piece, with the mounting bolts shown for the left side being similar for the right side. Remove the pulley from the power steering pump, counterholding it with an Allen key. Remove the mounting bolts and the power steering pump from the bracket, leaving the hydraulic lines attached and hanging the power steering pump from the vehicle using stiff wire or heavy-duty zip ties. Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the secondary air pump motor and move the wiring harness out of the way. Remove the mounting bolt for the coolant hose bracket and the mounting bolt for the secondary air pump filter bracket. Remove the mounting bolts and the secondary air pump motor with the bracket, then remove the secondary air pump motor from the bracket. Install in reverse order of removal.
