How to remove and install the Front Bumper cover and crossmember on Audi A6?

To remove the bumper cover and the crossmember, remove the front tires, loosen the fasteners that hold the front half of the wheelhousing liners to the bumper, and remove the screws with washers from the wheelhousing liner. Remove the nuts with flange on both sides of the wheelhousing and then remove the bolts and take off the bumper cover together with the crossmember towards the front. Make sure before installation of the bumper that the expanding clips are in place on the fenders and that the bumper cover tabs latch into the clips. To fit, place the bumper cover onto the impact absorbers, clip it into the guide, tighten the flanged nuts in the wheelhousing, and tighten the bolt fixing the bumper cover with the impact absorber.
